Information and sources policy – ConfSales
Last updated: 24 October 2026
1. Purpose
ConfSales helps businesses in the venue and conference industry identify and analyse publicly presented corporate events.
We aim to make the information clear, traceable and useful.
2. Where does the information come from?
ConfSales compiles information from publicly available sources, such as:
- Company and organisation websites.
- Public conference and event pages.
- Organisers’ event calendars.
- Press releases and news.
- Other openly published sources.
Information may be identified and structured using AI and automated tools.
3. What information is displayed?
ConfSales may display:
- The name of the conference or event.
- The organising company or organisation.
- Date and location.
- The stated conference venue.
- Other relevant factual information about the event.
- A link to the original source.
ConfSales is not designed to store or provide named contact people and personal email addresses in the conference database. Contact people can be found in the original sources.
4. Source references
We aim for each conference entry to include a link to the source on which the information is based.
A source reference does not mean that the source publisher collaborates with, recommends or endorses ConfSales.
Links may stop working or lead to content that has subsequently changed.
5. Accuracy and AI processing
ConfSales uses automated processing to identify and structure conference information.
Automated processing may result in errors.
We distinguish between verified facts and conclusions not expressly supported by the source material.
For example, stating that an event takes place at a particular venue does not automatically mean that the named organiser is the venue’s direct contractual customer.
6. Rights to source material
ConfSales aims to compile relevant facts without republishing protected articles, images or substantial parts of other parties’ databases.
Copyright and other rights to original material belong to the respective rights holders.
7. Corrections and feedback
If you discover incorrect or outdated information, you can contact us at info@confsales.se.
Please include:
- Which conference entry is concerned.
- Which information is incorrect.
- A link or other information supporting the correction.
We review incoming feedback and correct or remove information where justified.
8. Independent service
ConfSales is an independent information service.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, there is no commercial affiliation between ConfSales and the companies, organisers or conference venues appearing in the database.
